Pre-requisites

• Each project is associated with a customer. If you have not yet set up a customer for your project then see Setting up a customer on the system.
• Each project must have associated productivity details. The productivity is made up of two things:
• 1. a productivity matrix (this matrix can either be a specific matrix of values just for this project, or it can be a matrix shared with one or more other projects)
  2. a productivity multiplier (this can be used to apply a percentage up or down factor to values in a matrix)

• Each project must have associated pricing details. The pricing is made up of two things:

• Projects may have their own specific list of Seal Types. If this is a requirement for your project then see Creating a custom seal type list.

Step-by-step

1. Login to Boris with the username and password you have been given.
2. Choose the Setup/Maintenance menu and select the Customers option.
3. Under Locations, click on Add Location.
4. Complete the details for the new user:

   Location name	The project name.
   Address	The site address.
   Seal type list	If your project has its own list of seal types then select the list name from the drop-down box. Otherwise, choose Seal Types
   Productivity matrix	Select the productivity matrix that you wish to use for this project.
   Multiplier to apply to all items in productivity matrix	If the matrix is to be used "as is" then enter 1.0. Alternatively, enter a factor to uplift the values (eg. 1.5 to make them half as large again) or to depress the values (eg. 0.8 to make them 80% of the originals.)
   Pricing matrix	Select the pricing matrix that you wish to use for this project.
   Multiplier to apply to all items in pricing matrix	If the matrix is to be used "as is" then enter 1.0. Alternatively, enter a factor to uplift the values (eg. 1.5 to make them half as large again) or to depress the values (eg. 0.8 to make them 80% of the originals.)
   Regional or location group	Leave as default.
